If you want to straighten your teeth but don't want it to be obvious to others that you are straightening your teeth, Invisalign is the way to go. When it comes to your Invisalign braces, there are steps you can take to improve your usage of it.

#1: Wear Your Aligner as Much as Possible

First, you need to make sure you wear your aligner as much as possible. The more hours you wear your aligner, the quicker you can expect results. If you don't wear your aligner for the majority of the hours each day, you will not get results that quickly.

You should only remove your aligner to eat, brush, and floss. The more breaks you take throughout the day, the longer the process will take.

#2: Keep Your Last Set of Aligners

When you switch to a new set of aligners, you shouldn't toss your old set. Keep your old set so that you have a back-up on hand.

That way, if your new aligner breaks or you lose it, you will have a replacement set so you can keep the progress you have been making with your teeth. This will help ensure that your overall progress is not delayed that much by a lost or damaged set of aligners.

#3: Brush, Brush, Floss!

It is so important to take good care of your teeth. You need to make sure you take your aligners out at least twice a day to brush and floss. You should also use mouthwash as well.

You want to keep your mouth as clean as possible so that you don't experience dental hygiene issues while you are getting your teeth in position.

#4: Care for Your Aligner

You need to make sure you clean and take care of your aligner as well. You should use regular soap and water to clean your aligner.

Ideally, when you brush and floss your teeth, you should take a few moments to clean your aligners as well. Your aligners can hold bacteria if they are not adequately cleaned.

#5: Stick to the Schedule

You will have a schedule for switching out your aligner for a new one that will help move your teeth into the correct position. It is important to stick to the schedule and move on to your new aligner according to the schedule. This will help you stick to the progress schedule.

With Invisalign aligners, wear them as much as possible and change your aligners according to the schedule. Keep your aligner and teeth clean, and avoid dental hygiene issues as you get your teeth on track.
